Sheditor privacy policy

How the Android app handles local character sheets, advertising, and purchases.

Effective October 9, 2026

This edition updates the policy location and support contact. The app’s data practices are unchanged from the August 10, 2026 policy.

Sheditor is a character-sheet editor developed and published by Romulo B. P. Drumond under the Nonus Tech name. This policy explains how the Android app handles information.

Information handled by the app

Character sheets and preferences. Sheditor stores character sheets, settings, and preferences locally on your device. We do not operate a Sheditor account system or a server that receives this content. If you choose to export or share a file, the app or service you select to receive it will handle that file under its own terms.

Advertising. The free version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Google may automatically collect or receive information such as your IP address (which can indicate general location), interactions with the app and ads, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform asks for your consent before ads are requested.

Purchases. Sheditor offers a one-time Google Play purchase to remove ads. Google Play and RevenueCat process information needed to complete, validate, restore, and prevent fraud involving that purchase. This can include the product purchased, transaction or receipt data, purchase status and history, an automatically generated anonymous RevenueCat app user ID, and basic app or device information. Sheditor does not receive your full payment-card details.

Sheditor does not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email address, contacts, precise location, photos, or health information.

Why this information is used

Information is processed to:

  • show and measure ads in the free version;
  • request and remember advertising privacy choices where required;
  • detect invalid ad traffic and purchase fraud;
  • complete, verify, and restore the Remove Ads purchase; and
  • diagnose reliability problems in the advertising and purchase services.

Depending on your location and the specific processing, these activities rely on your consent, performance of the purchase contract, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as fraud prevention and service reliability.

Service providers

The app uses the following third-party service providers:

These providers may process information in countries other than your own and retain it according to their policies and legal obligations.

Your choices

When Google's consent system requires an ongoing privacy-options entry point, Sheditor shows Manage Privacy Choices in Settings. You can also manage or delete the Android advertising ID in your device settings. Buying Remove Ads stops Sheditor from initializing or displaying AdMob ads while the ad_free purchase entitlement is active.

You can remove locally stored character sheets and preferences by deleting them in the app, clearing Sheditor's app data, or uninstalling the app. Google Play purchases can be restored from Sheditor's Settings screen.

Data deletion requests

To request deletion of the anonymous purchase profile maintained for Sheditor by RevenueCat, open Sheditor's Settings screen and copy the Support ID shown under Ad-free upgrade. Email that ID to Nonus Tech support with the subject "Sheditor data deletion request". We will use the ID only to locate the corresponding RevenueCat customer record and will complete a valid request within 30 days.

Deleting that record removes the anonymous RevenueCat identifier and its purchase history from RevenueCat. Sheditor keeps no separate server-side copy, so there is no additional retention by Sheditor after the request is complete. The request does not delete character sheets stored on your device, cancel or refund a Google Play purchase, or delete records controlled independently by Google. Google and other providers may retain payment, advertising, fraud, tax, or legal-compliance records under their own policies and applicable law.

Retention and security

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, or uninstall Sheditor. Google and RevenueCat retain information under their own policies and for purposes such as purchase records, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service operation. Data sent to these providers is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Children

Sheditor is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review the issue.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when Sheditor's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
